I came to the Outer Banks in 1982 while on vacation and never left! I've lived here year-round since then. After working for an attorney handling real estate closings, I decided to get my license to better understand the real estate business. A friend of mine, who is a developer, insisted I go into Sales. I enjoy helping people and matching them to the best property.

My reputation is built on client satisfaction. Since 1984, I have assisted buyers, sellers, those relocating and retiring to the area. You have the benefit of my experience, knowledge and professional guidance to sail to a smooth closing.

My Mission: To help buyers and sellers get what they want. 

I educate you so that you are best informed to make a smart decision. I will show you both strengths and weaknesses of the property you are considering. I view real estate as a process of elimination. You must eliminate properties that do not work for you before you find the one that suits you best. I do not sell you property. You BUY what you want and I ensure that you know everything necessary and important to do so. I will assist you through every step of the transaction so there are no surprises. When YOU are happy, I am happy. I do not earn my keep until the job is complete to your satisfaction
